Sun readers

Sun readers (prescription sunglasses) from Have A Look are the perfect accessory for everyone experiencing presbyopia (age-related farsightedness) and who enjoy reading in the sunshine. Offering 100% UV protection with category 3 lenses, our sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear, durable, affordable, and exceptionally stylish. We've ensured a vast selection of colors and models to choose from, so you can always find the perfect pair to match your personal style, head shape, and reading preferences. Each pair of our sunglasses is designed in Denmark and meticulously crafted from bio-based materials, respecting both people and the planet.

What are prescription sunglasses?

Prescription sunglasses (sun readers) are essentially reading glasses with tinted lenses, and they are indispensable if you regularly use reading glasses and love to read outdoors. Many with presbyopia are familiar with the hassle of impossible multi-layered eyewear arrangements (reading glasses underneath and sunglasses on top). There's a much easier and more fashionable way with a pair of prescription sunglasses. We offer them in strengths from +1 to +3, and many models also come as bifocal sunglasses.

Why are sunglasses important?

Prescription sunglasses are not just about enhancing your reading experience in the sun. They also protect your vision and the delicate skin around your eyes. Ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun can cause damage to the cornea and retina, while the skin around your eyes is thin and particularly vulnerable to UV-related skin damage – including wrinkles. Sunglasses with 100% UV protection filter out these harmful rays and minimize the risk of damage. By choosing quality sunglasses, you're not just investing in immediate reading comfort but also in your long-term well-being and health.
